Installing the One-VA VPN Client
Kemp Cease
As of this writing the One-VA VPN Client is v2.0 and
is multiplatform.
This is the Windows version of these instructions. The Macintosh
version is here.
- When presented with the Connection dialog
box selct Entry 3 and click "Connect."
- You will be challenged with an authenticatin
box. Enter your NT Login username,
password and "vha11" for the Domain.
- You will then receive confirmation that
your connection has been established.
- After clicking continue, the VPN client will be
running in the background,
providing the secure connection on top of which a Citrix client-server
connection can be established. The small icon in the task bar shows that the
VPN client is running. You can reopen the interface to the VPN by double clicking
this icon or using the menu or icons mentioned above.

- Note that while your VPN connection is in place,
all internet traffic will go through it. You may find that you cannot get
to certain web sites or email servers, etc. When you have finished working
with VA applications, close them and then open the One-VA VPN client again
and click on the "Disconnect" button (that replaced the "Connect"
button) in the upper left corner. The client will shutdown and your internet
access will no longer be limited by being routed into the VA network environment.
- Citrix client installation information is here.
Information on adding a connection within the Citrix environment is here.
